DU on Saturday gave details of PhD and MPhil seats in various departments. MPhil has a total of 685 seats with the maximum being 40 seats in the English subject.
It is followed by 31-31 seats in Hindi and Sangeet. At the same time, PhD in 80 seats in Chemistry, 50 in Commerce, 38 in Education, 36 in Electronic Science, 34 in Sports Science, 35 in Mathematics, 40 in Home Science, 39 in Geography, 30 seats in History.
