CTET 2021 Important update for the candidates who are preparing for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). According to various media reports, CBSE CTET 2021 dates may be announced by the end of June.
The application process can also start soon after the CBSE releases the CTET 2021 dates. However, due to the pandemic, the exam dates are less likely to be released at the moment, so the admit card and result dates will have to wait for the update to be released by the board.

CTET Qualification
According to the notification issued before the CTET exam, candidates with graduation and B.Ed or other valid education degree will be able to do the Central Teacher Eligibility Test. CTET papers are determined according to the teaching at different levels, so the eligibility for them is also different. For more details candidates can visit the CTET exam portal, ctet.nic.in.
CTET Application Process
As in the past few years, this year also the application for CTET exam will be completely online and candidates will be able to apply through the online application form made available on the exam portal, ctet.nic.in.
To apply, candidates will have to first register and after that the candidates will be able to login and submit the CTET 2021 application.
Validity of CTET Certificate
On the other hand, the central government has increased the validity of CTET certificate. Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ recently announced on 3rd June 2021 that the validity of CTET certificate has been increased to lifelong from the present 7 years. After this, NCTE has issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, according to the update of the Education Minister.
What is CTET?
CTET means Central Teacher Eligibility Test. CBSE (Central Board OF Secondary Education) conducts CTET exam at National Level. Those Candidates, who want to become a teacher for classes 1 to 8, can apply and cleared CTET Exam. CTET Exam is conducted two times a year. CTET Exam has two sessions for Paper-1 and Paper-2. CTET Paper-1 for those candidates who want to teach Classes 1-5, and Paper-2 for Classes 1-8.
Candidate must passed senior secondary or graduation with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
