The University of Delhi has made it clear in the guideline issued to conduct examination of only undergraduate and postgraduate final year students that students will not be short of time for the exam, they will be given four hours for the exam. If the portal is not functioning properly, then an additional time of 30 minutes will also be given.
if the students are unable to upload the answer book on the portal, then there will also be a facility to send it by mail, but proof has to be given that it had to be done because of not running the portal.
About 80 thousand in regular and about 90 thousand students in NCWeb and SOL will take the exam. In total, more than one and a half million students will appear for the final year examination this time.
DU Dean Examination Prof. DS Rawat has decided to conduct the Open Book Examination once again in view of the situation arising out of covid-19. The examination will begin in two shifts from June 7. Earlier this examination was to be held in May, but in view of the fast growing cases, it has been postponed to June.
90 percent students absent in Practical Exam in DU 2021
In addition to DU teachers, students from St. Stephens and many teachers are seeking organizations to demand the cancellation of DU final year students exams, but a senior DU official said that online practicals at colleges include graduating final year students. Attendance ranges from 90 to 98 percent in many colleges. Nearly 400 students had sent letters with their signatures to cancel the examination, out of which only 22 per cent of final year students were present.
