2020 Admission process of SOL can start from Monday (19 October 2020)

Delhi University’s School of Open Learning has received approval from the Board of Distance Education for admission to the new semester. Therefore DU can start the online admission process from the upcoming week.

Prof. Uma Shankar Pandey, Special Work Officer of SOL said that the students had been waiting for a long time to start the admission process in SOL. Students constantly asked questions related to it, But now with the approval, we will start it soon. The admission process in SOL can start on Monday 19 October 2020.

About one lakh students take admission every year in DU SOL

DU has twice the number of regular course students enrolled in SOL. There are also students who enroll and prepare for competitive exams or do jobs. Undergraduate classes at DU’s various centers run two days a week on Saturdays and Sundays.

These are the Undergraduate course in DU SOL, (Delhi University School of Open Learning)

SOL and Regular Course are same or One

The course is the same for students studying in DU through both regular and distance education.
Due to the implementation of the choice based credit system, the course which will now be taught in regular mode will be taught in distance mode also.

Fees required at the time of admission application in SOL

The application fee have to pay while filling the application form.
The application fee will be only through online medium. Students will be able to pay the application fee through net banking, credit card or debit card. Its fee is about 3500 rupees.

Text material is available through both mediums (Online and Offline) in SOL

In DU, SOL provides course material in both online and offline mediums for their students. Apart from this, students also motivated for campus placements and other vocational courses from time to time.
