One by one the examinations are being postponed due to the ever increasing number of corona infections. On May 6, IGNOU also postponed the term end examination to be held in June till further orders.
Here, Regional Director Dr. Shubhakant Mohanty at IGNOU Regional Center Ranchi held a meeting online on Friday and reviewed the submission of assignments from the online class.
It was said in the meeting that the last date for submission of assignment, project, synopsis has been extended to 31 May.
Learners can submit it on online-rc@ignou.ac.in. Apart from this, those who cannot deposit online can also submit it at IGNOU Regional Center Ashoknagar. There is a drop box in the regional center. Some workers are also present there.
However, IGNOU has advised the students to submit online assignments. It is also said that submit the assignment either online or offline in one of the two ways. Do not submit in both modes.
Induction of students of January session from May
Regional Center Assistant Director Dr. Ragini said that online class and induction meetings are being held continuously. Its monitoring regional director, Dr. S. Maheanti is doing. In the current session, IGNOU has about 50 thousand students in various programs. He informed that the induction meeting of the students who enroll in January session -2021 will start in this month.
This information will be given to students by sending an SMS. Online classes of students from other sessions are going on. They are also being provided online study materials. The Co-ordinator of the Study Center also has a meeting with the Regional Director. In this, apart from the Assistant Regional Director, Dr. Ragini, Dr. Moti Ram, the co-ordinator of the study center where the meeting takes place.
