Educational Qualification – for Assistant Professor

• Master’s Degree in a relevant subject with at least 55% marks from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

Educational Qualification for IGNOU Associate Professor Recruitment 2023

• Ph.D Degree in the concerned/relevant disciplines.
• Ph.D Degree shall be a mandatory qualification for all candidates to be appointed as Associate Professor through direct recruitment.
• Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.
• Minimum eight years of experience in teaching and research in an academic position in the university.

Qualification and Eligibility conditions for the Post of Associate Professor Post

Educational Qualification for IGNOU Professor Recruitment 2023

• Ph.D qualification in the concerned/relevant discipline and published work of high quality actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications in refereed journals.
• A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in a University or College.
• A Minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS).
