Delhi Govt School Admission 2021
The process of admission to the government schools of Delhi has started. The applications for admission for the academic session 2021-22 in classes 6th to 9th in all government schools under the Directorate of Education, Government of Delhi have started from June 11.
The process of applying for an admission is completely online and parents can apply through the online admission form provided on the Directorate’s website, edudel.nic.in. On the other hand, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the directorate has announced a relaxation of some time to all such parents in the submission of documents required for admission.
According to the notice issued by the directorate, “Due to unavoidable circumstances (due to the pandemic), if any parent is unable to submit the documents for admission confirmation, they can still get their child’s admission done till the last date i.e. 31st August 2021.” However, in this situation the parents will have to obtain an apology for the delay from the respective DDE (Zone) office of their area.
6 months age relaxation in Delhi Govt School Admission 2021
Similarly, this time the Directorate of Education of Delhi has also announced relaxation of 6 months in the maximum and minimum age limits for admission in classes 6th to 9th. To get this exemption, parents have to apply to the head of the school concerned. All such applications will be sent by the school head to the respective DDE (Zone) office and after approval the admission will be done.
