University Exams 2021: University exams canceled in Gujarat, students will be promoted, CM Vijay Rupani ordered

In the current situation, the Gujarat government has decided to promote about 10 lakh students of the state without examination.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani issued orders in this regard on Friday, May 21. He has instructed the students of the second, fourth and sixth semesters of all government and private colleges and universities to promote without examination.

These students will be promoted on the basis of merit obtained in previous examinations. This decision of the government will benefit more than 9.50 lakh UG students studying in Gujarat.

However, this decision will not be applicable to Medical Courses and Para-Medical Courses. The Chief Minister’s Office of Gujarat (CMO Gujarat) has also shared this information on its Twitter handle.

Before this, a decision has been taken to promote students from 9th to 11th in Gujarat without examination. The Gujarat Board has given the school principals the right to give grace marks up to 10 marks to the students of 9th, 10th and 11th class. However, it would have written on his marksheet that ‘the examinations were not held due to Covid-19’.

Jammu University has announced that the exam for UG Courses will be conducted online in 2021 open book format.

As you know, Jammu and Kashmir closed all educational institutions by 31 May 2021. All the schools, colleges and skill development institutes of the state will remain closed till the date fixed.

The university has also issued official notifications in this regard. It states, “The examinations for the candidates of Semester I, III and V (Regular and Private) for Jammu University UG Programs 2021 will be conducted in online open book mode.”

Delhi University uploaded fresh OBE Guideline for the Final, Term, year examination for the UG Programmes 2020-2021.

In these guidelines, DU said examinations of final semester, term, and year will start from 07th June 2021. And tell that Ex-students have to follow schedule or datasheet of examination as per the year of exam. and as per the Guideline final year students who have ER in previous semester/years can re-appear.

Important point for admit cards for the DU Final year OBE Exam 2021?

Admit card will be available on DU Website soon.  Students must check or ensure their information which is printed on the admit card is correct or not.
student should check their name Enrollment number, Name in Hindi etc.
Because this information will be used for the printing of degrees.

Guideline for Poor internet connection while exam time

In case of poor internet connectivity or technical glitches, student can  submit his/her script beyond the specified time period (5 hr) with the documentary evidence to the email ID of the Nodal Officers of the College/Department.

According to the DU update, “Intermediate Semester examinations of the three-year UG courses will be conducted in ABE mode.” However, more information on ABE mode of intermediate exams has not been shared by Delhi University at present.

What is ABE (Assignment Based Examination) mode in DU?

The detailed guidelines regarding ABE mode examinations” (by the university) will be issued soon. The decision of DU to conduct UG Courses Intermediate semester examinations in Assignment Based Examination (ABE) mode has been taken in view of the circumstances arising out of the Covid-19 epidemic.

DU new datesheet released for the exam 2021 on 20 May 2021

On the other hand, University of Delhi has released the datesheet of examinations for all the courses for which the examinations have been announced. According to the DU update, “all the datasheets have been made available on the DU website.”

Students of UG / PG courses can visit DU’s official website, www.exam.du.ac.in and download DU Revised Datasheet 2021 for their respective examinations.
