Delhi University uploaded another notification no. Acd.1/299/Academic Calendar/ dated on30 July 2020. In this notification, university announced that academic session 2020-2021will commence from 10.08.2020.
Online classes will be starting for semester III, V & VII for under-graduate and Semester IIIof Post-Graduate courses.
Delhi Government Funded 12 Colleges Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff salary has been dry for 3 months.
This problem has been caused by the reduction of funds for the last few months.
An official of Delhi Government funded Deen Dayal Upadhaya College said that internet and phone connection has been cut in his college as the bill has not been paid for four months.
Especially when the corona epidemic is widespread and is struggling with economic crisis. There are 12 government funded Delhi colleges.
Some of these colleges have given their salary for the month of May to their employees, but most of the college has not paid the last three months salary to its staff.
An official of the Delhi government’s finance department said that there is a huge shortage of money due to the epidemic. Money was used more in Covid-19 management. The Delhi government sought financial assistance of 5000 crores from the central government. but no amount has been received so far.
Education Minister and Deputy Chief Minister in Delhi government, Manish Sisodia said that the government is short of funds. Simultaneously, the administration of the colleges of Delhi University was accused of corruption.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that despite the increase of 70% in the budget in 5 years,the intimacy of Delhi Government College funded Delhi University College to pay thesalaries of the staff tells more. So they are delaying in forming a governing body.
About 1200 teaching and 900 non-teaching staff are permanently employed in DelhiGovernment Funded College. DUTA’s president has written a letter to Chief Minister ArvindKejriwal for the staff struggling with salary crisis in tomorrow.
Students who have graduated from Delhi University till date, are yet to get a stuck degree. In such a situation, the university has started an online portal.
Delhi University has started an online portal giving relief to the students, through this portal, students will be given a digital degree certificate.
Delhi University has given this information to the Delhi High Court. A bench of Justice Pratibha M. Singh of the High Court was informed that Students have to register on this portal.
To register, information on academic eligibility, college name, exam roll number, etc. will have to be filled. After that, the university will issue a digital degree certificate in a week after verification.
Giving a Digital Degree in the COVID‑19 pandemic, will free both students and parents from trouble. In such a situation, students will not have to travel to college or university and will get a degree through online portal.

UP ITI Admission 2020: State Vocational Training Council (SCVT) has again extended the last date for application for ITI admission. The candidates, who have not yet applied, will now be able to apply online by September 7, 2020.
To apply online, candidates have to login on the official website i.e.,
www.scvtup.in
Remember that the last date for the first application was August 31, 2020. Which has now been expanded.
The last opportunity to get admission in ITI. The application deadline has been extended fora second time.
As per media reports, SCVT officials said that the last date has been extended, this may be the last opportunity for candidates to apply. A total of 3,73,180 candidates have applied so far.
Around 5 lakh seats are to be entered in the state including 70 trades of state ITIs and 58trades of private ITIs.
This time the Covid-19 epidemic has resulted in fewer applications. Keeping this in mind, the last date of application has been extended.
The candidates who will not get admission in the government ITI in counseling, will have to fill the form again for the upgrade.
However, they will not have to pay any fee for this. At the same time, general andbackward class candidates applying for the first time will have to pay a fee of Rs 250, whileSC / ST candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 150.
