UGC Issues List of 123 SWAYAM Courses: University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued necessary notice regarding closure of higher education institutions and continuing studies through online platforms. According to the notice issued by the UGC, it has been suggested to study about 123 courses through online SWAYAM.
Through which there will be 83 undergraduate (UG) and 40 post graduate (PG) non-engineering MOOCs in the July 2021 semester.
The Commission has decided to complete the study of Open Online Courses (MOOCs) on a large scale in view of the Corona Virus (COVID19) epidemic. Direct links to the list of UG, PG Course are given below.

The list of 83 undergraduate (UG) and 40 postgraduate (PG) courses for the July-October semester 2021 has been uploaded on the official website of SWAYAM swayam.gov.in.
UGC wrote letter to all university’s VCs and college principals
In a letter to the Vice Chancellors of all universities and principals of colleges, the UGC wrote that, “In view of the current situation of the second wave of Covid-19, universities and colleges are requested to keep in mind the safety of students and teachers. Make maximum use of SWAYAM courses on the online platform.”
Universities and Colleges Publicize SWAYAM Courses
The Commission further stated that, ‘in view of the corona virus epidemic, universities and colleges are requested to inform these SWAYAM courses between students and faculty through websites and various social media handles’.
