Data Science and Coding in CBSE syllabus

CBSE included Data Science and Coding

CBSE class 6th to 8th students will now study data science curriculum and coding as well. Both these subjects have been included in the syllabus from class 6th to 8th. The purpose of inclusion of these courses is to develop the students technically.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank tweeted that he had promised to include data science and coding subjects in schools under the new education policy. It has been completed by CBSE in association with Microsoft. According to various media reports, according to CBSE President Manoj Ahuja, both these subjects will be very helpful for teachers and students to move forward in technology. It has been developed in collaboration with Microsoft.

At the same time, according to Navtej Bal, Executive Director, Microsoft India, by including these two subjects in the school curriculum, it will prove to be very useful and helpful for the students in this technical time. With this, students will progress in technology along with studies.

In the order of suggestions invited to prepare the UP Board 10th Result 2021, the marks of the previous class i.e. 9th class annual examination and 10th pre-board i.e. half yearly marks can be included. Similarly, suggestions have been received to include high school marks, class 11 half yearly and annual examination marks and class 12 half yearly examination marks in making UP Board 12th Result 2021.

20 percent Admission increased in IGNOU

Classes in almost all colleges and universities have run negligibly in the last two years, Due to Corona. Where new admissions are decreasing in every college and university, the applications for admission in IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) have increased.

20% Admission increased in IGNOU

According to the data received from IGNOU’s Varanasi Regional Center located at BHU, the new admissions here have increased by 20 percent as compared to the previous years. Along with general undergraduate and postgraduate courses, the number of people taking admission in professional courses is also significant. Center in-charge Dr. Upendra Nabha Tripathi says that in the year 2019, the number of people taking admission was 13 thousand, in the year 2020 it increased to 14 thousand 275.

Dr. Tripathi informed that IGNOU is already running both online and offline classes. Regular classes have been held on Google Meet during the Corona period. Also the study material is uploaded on YouTube. IGNOU provides complete study material to all its students, which makes it easy to study from home.

He told that he had conducted a survey among more than 6000 students enrolling in IGNOU, in which students said that studies were easier than IGNOU. His reasoning was that he can complete his studies while doing his job or business. Also, IGNOU courses are much cheaper than courses elsewhere.

Records expected to be broken in 2021

IGNOU Regional Center at BHU handles the responsibility of 19 districts from Allahabad to Gorakhpur. The regional center in-charge of IGNOU is excited by the increase in the percentage of admission last year. Email Ids for OBE 2021

Students should not face any kind of problem. Prof Umashankar Pandey said that the students will get three hours to take the exam while one hour to download the question paper and upload the answer sheet on the portal. In this way students will get a total of four hours.

The open book examinations of the final year students of Delhi University will begin from Monday. DU has issued email id for SOL students. SOL OSD Prof Umashankar Pandey said that more than 450 different email IDs have been issued for each subject’s question paper. So that the students do not face any kind of problem.

Prof Umashankar Pandey said that the students will get three hours to take the exam while one hour to download the question paper and upload the answer sheet on the portal. In this way students will get a total of four hours.

However, in case of technical snag, students will get one hour extra. That is, in the fifth hour, the student who uploads the copy on the portal will have to show the screen shot of the technical flaw. The review committee will decide to check the copies of such students. If a student is not able to upload the answer sheet on the portal even in these five hours, then in such a situation an additional 30 minutes will be given. However, within these thirty minutes, the copies will have to be sent to the email id issued by DU.

Email ids information on dashboard

SOL OSD informed that the complete list of email id will be displayed on the dashboard as soon as you log in to the examination portal. Different email ids have been issued for all the question papers of B.Com, B.Com Hons, BA Program, BA Honors English, BA Honors Political Science. After giving the exam, the student will be able to send the answer sheet by simply viewing the email on the dashboard itself.

However, DU has given strict instructions to the students to email only after the time period for uploading the answer sheets on the portal is over. Because the copies uploaded on the portal will be checked first. Copies sent by email will be checked later. In such a situation, the examination results of the students who email will also be released late.

Along with this, DU is also working on a plan to settle the pending cases of teachers and personnel who lost their lives from Corona at the earliest. So that their families do not have to face any kind. Actually, in the second wave of Corona, more than 50 teachers have died in DU.

This will also reduce the burden on these campuses significantly. If all goes well, the facilitation center will start functioning in a few months. For this the engineering department of DU has started preparing.

Donated property for DU Facilitation Center

Dean of College Prof. Balram Pani told that DU has got the property of South Extension in donation. It will be developed as a facilitation center, so that the students get convenience. Another DU official said that there is a single floor building in P-53 South Extension. Although the building is quite old. Late Pandit Madan Mohan Kaul donated this property to DU before 1970. It is built in 200 yards.

Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. PC Joshi, Joint Registrar, officials of the Engineering Department inspected the property and discussed the implementation of the facility.

DU Facilitation Center will be available for

A computer center will be set up here once the facilitation center is started. Offices will be built for the staff. From admission to degree, the work will be completed this way.

Fee submission for online admission, document verification, correction of errors in examination form, mark sheet, provisional degree, migration, degree related work will be done.

DU will also open facilitation centers at Roshanpura and Najafgarh in outer Delhi. More than 10 thousand DU students of outer, western and south western districts will get a lot of convenience from this. If Haryana is included then this number increases further. After Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, the maximum number of students from Haryana apply in DU.

They have to travel a long way to reach the campus. DU has 16.35 acres of land in Roshanpura village. There is also a plan to open a women’s college here. The DU administration informed that the proposal of the college has been passed by the Building and Works Committee. The likely expenditure has also been decided and now the University Grants Commission has been applied for the grant. The construction work will start as soon as the grant is passed.
