10 thousand rupees for financial assistance
Ration card is being made for all the persons with disabilities under the self-reliant India scheme. With the registration of new disabled people, more than 18 thousand people with disabilities registered in Lucknow will be linked with pension as well as self-employment.
Action is being taken to send the pension of 500 rupees for the disabled to their account at the right time. Disabled persons, who despite having a disability, have not made a certificate, their disability certificate will be made through the District Chief Medical Officer. An economic aid of 10 thousand rupees will also be provided.
Incentive amount on marriage:
There is a provision to provide incentives to PwDs under the Marriage-Marriage Incentive Award Scheme operated by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. Under the scheme, the disabled couple will be given incentive award of 15 thousand for getting married and 20 thousand for getting disabled for the woman. Not only this, both will get an incentive of Rs 35 thousand if they are disabled.
