Government jobs in Punjab: Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh has asked the Department of Employment Generation and Training to pursue this process by striving to achieve the targeted target of giving one lakh government jobs as soon as possible.
Taking stock of the progress of the employment generation and training department, the Chief Minister made the department to provide 17.61 lakh jobs in self-employment besides government, private sector since March 2017, especially during difficult times of Covid-19 Efforts appreciated.
Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh asked the Employment Generation and Training Department to lay special emphasis on skill development training. Said that this effort will be helpful in making our youth efficient according to the needs of the local industry.
During this, Chief Secretary Vini Mahajan said that the employment generation and training department has made a tremendous contribution to provide facilities to equip the youth with technical skills as per the pace of the current employment market based on progress in service and IT sector. .
