OPSC Group B Recruitment 2021

Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has invited applications for more than 300 vacancies. Here recruitment will be done on the post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon under the Department of Fisheries and ARD. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply online by visiting the official website of OPSC, opsc.gov.in.

A total of 351 vacancies will be filled for the post of OPSC Veterinary Assistant Surgeon through this recruitment drive. Online registration for this recruitment will start from 18th June 2021. Educational Qualification for OPSC Group B Recruitment 2021

  • Candidates who passed Bachelor’s degree in Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science or its equivalent examination from any recognized university in India or abroad.
  • The candidate to be registered under the Odisha Veterinary Practitioner Act, 1970.

Age Limit

Minimum age 21 and not more than 32 years of age as on 01 January 2021 for OPSC Group B Recruitment 2021

Application fees for exam of OPSC Group B Recruitment 2021

  • Rs 500 an application fee. for General and EWS
  • SC, ST and PWD (whose permanent disability is 40% or more) category are exempted from the examination fee.

Selection Process

  • Eligible candidates will have to give a written test and viva-voce test to get the job.
  • The written examination will be of two and a half hours in which there will be two papers, each paper will be of 400-400 marks in which 200-200 questions will be asked.
  • Paper-1 will be of Veterinary Science
  • and Paper-2 will be of Animal Science.
