University Exams 2021: University exams canceled in Gujarat, students will be promoted, CM Vijay Rupani ordered

In the current situation, the Gujarat government has decided to promote about 10 lakh students of the state without examination.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani issued orders in this regard on Friday, May 21. He has instructed the students of the second, fourth and sixth semesters of all government and private colleges and universities to promote without examination.

These students will be promoted on the basis of merit obtained in previous examinations. This decision of the government will benefit more than 9.50 lakh UG students studying in Gujarat.

However, this decision will not be applicable to Medical Courses and Para-Medical Courses. The Chief Minister’s Office of Gujarat (CMO Gujarat) has also shared this information on its Twitter handle.

Before this, a decision has been taken to promote students from 9th to 11th in Gujarat without examination. The Gujarat Board has given the school principals the right to give grace marks up to 10 marks to the students of 9th, 10th and 11th class. However, it would have written on his marksheet that ‘the examinations were not held due to Covid-19’.
