DU Final Year Exam 2021: University of Delhi postponed final year examinations due to Corona

DU Final Year Exam 2021: University of Delhi (DU) examinations for graduate, postgraduate final year students to be held from May 15 will now be from June 1.

In view of the situation arising out of Covid-19 in various parts of the country including the capital, DU has deferred the open book examination to be held for final year students.

A large number of teachers, students and other staff from DU requested to postpone the examination after Covid became ill. As we know in DU, more than two dozen teachers and staff have died from Corona. More than 500 teachers are in isolation at their homes.

DU’s final year and last semester examinations were to start from May 15, which will now start from June 1. These exams will be in open format through online mediums.

DU Rawat (Examination) DS Rawat says that we had a meeting with the Heads of Departments and the Dean on Saturday. The Vice Chancellor presided over this meeting. The meeting has decided to postpone the examinations till June 1.

The DU Teachers Association had demanded that the examinations be canceled, and that the classes should also be postponed, because in the situation, neither the students nor the teachers are able to teach. It is a very difficult situation.

Teachers of many students have shared on Facebook, in which they have written that students are doing online classes at a time when people are ill in their home. The same crisis is facing the teachers. A teacher told me that I am a Kovid and I am under pressure to make a question paper.
