DU OBE Telegram Group | Du writes a letter to Telegram to stop group formed to help students in OBE exam 2021

The university’s online (open book examination) OBE for postgraduate and final semester students began on 7 June 2021 and around 35,000 students appeared for the exam on the first day.

The University of Delhi (DU) has written to messenger app Telegram, asking it to shut down a group allegedly formed to help students during its online open book exams.

Delhi University sent e-mails to students

The university has said in an email to the students, “The examination branch has come to know that a WhatsApp/Telegram group has been formed to help the students in the examination.

Delhi University has advised students not to be a part of any such group. delhi university further said that they have identified such students and action will be taken as per the rules of the university.

What Examination Dean said about telegram group

Dean (Examination) DS Rawat said that the university has received e-mails from an unknown source regarding this group. And he said, “We have identified 112-113 students who are part of this group. We have got the details of the group and we have also written a letter to Telegram to close this group.

The university’s online open book examination (OBE) for postgraduate and final semester students began on Monday and around 35,000 students appeared for the exam on the first day. Due to the corona virus epidemic, these examinations are being conducted in OBE mode.
