The University Grants Commission (UGC) has now issued clarification on fake news being spread about exam guidelines on various platforms.

The notice issued by the University Grants commission states that, “It has come to the notice of the Commission that false news about the UGC guidelines on the examination has been published in some print and digital media.

The UGC had issued guidelines on exam and academic calendar from time to time last year. At the same time, in the notification issued on 6 May, the UGC requested the universities not to conduct offline examinations in the month of May 2021. “
